Black Market

From time to time, you might desperately need some extra units, for example when you are under a heavy attack. Or, maybe you need some extra cash, and feel that the current units you have are a too big of a drain on your economy. Here is where the Black Market comes to rescue.

Even though it is deemed illegal, almost everybody on Terra-Xi is involved in the Black Market; a highly organized market for buying and selling units in the underground of Terra-Xi. It was founded by some of Terra-Xi's most clever businessmen, and is still operated by them.

The Terra-Xi Black Market network works and operates almost like a normal market. However, the biggest difference is that it's completely anonymous, and the prices are often controlled by these businessmen that operate the network.

To use the Black Market, you need to go to the Black Market screen; this can be found in the Ward game menu. Once there, you will see a list of all the units in Mech Wars, as well as how many of each unit that are being offered, and how many that are wanted. In addition, you'll see the current buying and current selling prices.

To buy or sell units, just select the unit you wish to either buy or sell in the form below the list of Black Market data. Then enter how many units you wish to buy/sell, and, depending on whether you wish to sell or buy units, how much you require for each unit or how much you are willing to pay for each units, respectively.

If you do not have enough credits to cover the bid, then your bid will be removed. If you do not have enough mechs to sell, only the mechs you have (obviously) will be sent. Please note that when you setup a sell bid on the Black Market, your units will be sent to the Black Market, and will not be able to fight for you. The travel to the Black Market takes 2 hours.

Your bid will never be on the Black Market for more than 12 hours. This is to prevent people filling up the Black Market with useless (buying) bids, and also to prevent people from hiding their units on the Black Market. If you need to have your mechs back before the 12 hours have elapsed, you can cancel the (selling) bid, and your units will be ready for action after 2 hours.

When your bid is completed, you will get your newly acquired units within 2 hours after the bid was completed. Please note that if you wanted to buy 100 units, but there were only 50 units available for the price you bidded at, you will get 50 units, and then the bid will continue until you have all your units. The same is for selling units.
